Perfect Kids' Room Accessories From H&M

Picture
H&M Home products, which will arrive in Turkey this September, will test the devotion of many die-hard IKEA and Zara Home Kids fans. Let's face it, price is a deciding factor for many non-essential kids' products. And room decorations, definitely fall in to this non-essential but important category for me. Linens, storage boxes, towels and other decorative accessories should not be expensive but they should be made of quality materials as they have to endure endless washings and lots of wear and tear. And of course they need to be well-styled to appeal to both moms and tots. Look no further...the most simple and splendid products are probably clearing Turkish customs as we speak.
I just repainted my daughter's rooms a lovely light greige (greyish-beige) color which works well for both boys and girls rooms and which beautifully offsets and tones down both brighter and pastel color-schemes. There are millions of color choices out there but my vote for the most simple and splendid paint color on the Turkish market is Filli Boya's "Dag Kristali" . If you are looking to repaint your entire house...check this color out or save yourself the trouble, call your painters, give them the name of this color and go ahead have them re-paint your entire house in "Dag Kristali". You will thank me later. It looks a lot lighter when applied on actual walls.

You might have noticed that scandinavian-style (clean, simple and modern) children's rooms always utilize many neutrals mixed in with more traditional children's colors such as pink, lilac or baby blue. They also use a lot of black and white. Restoration Hardware Baby also uses the same approach in their styling...beige, grey, tan, black, dark brown, dark grey, denim juxtaposed with white, lavender, lilac, pink, navy blue, baby blue...IKEA stylists also use a lot of black on kids' room walls...I am tempted to do that in my next refresh...probably after the kids discover Monster High.

Here are some of my favorite styles and products from H&M Home for kids. You will be shocked by the prices and the simplicity of the styling. I truly hope that they will not have limited stock of items once they open as I would love to see this simple and splendid aesthetic style becoming more and more popular while matchy matchy cheesy kids rooms and WINX and BEN10 polyester sheets become less popular as more options become available to us...

Sorry for having a girls' room bias once again...let me know if you would like to see a boys room refresh!

I am lucky because I am a huge fan of H&M! I bought al to of stuff there, both for me and for my kids! It is true that the company is home for great stuff for kids, unlike other clothing lines that are just focused on clothes. I guess, I bought half of the items that you mentioned above and I was quite laughing while reading your post! I felt guilty because I've seen some of it already. Those items are also really cheap! You guys should go there as soon as possible.
